Finding your Critiques

Your instructor may require you to formally critique work of others in the class.

If there are any requests for you to critique someone else’s work, you will find them under Your Deadlines on your Class Home page

Write a Critique: Your Deadlines

There are two ways to begin to write your critique. From Your Deadlines on the Class Home page or from the Assignments tab.

Your Deadlines:

1. Find the assignment that you need to critique. Click the Start Critique button.

 2. This will open the editor where you can write your critique. The text you are critiquing will be visible on the side so you will be able to refer back to the writing as you critique.

3. You can Preview your work, Save as a draft to work on later or post when you are ready.

Write a Critique: Assignments

1. Go to Assignments

2. Find the assignment that you need to critique and click the title of the work or your name

📝Note: You can see how your classmates have been distributed into groups under Pending. Once a response has been written, it will move to Response. A small clock next to your name means that your critique is requested.

3. Click the Start Critique button.

4. This will open the editor where you can write your critique. The text you are critiquing will be visible on the side so you will be able to refer back to the writing as you critique.
