The private feedback feature allows you to connect with your students individually. In this view, you can add feedback that is only visible to them. This is great if you have comments that are personalized for each student, or have topics to share that are more sensitive or private.
This differs from critiques, as private feedback made on responses are never shared with the rest of the class.
Add private feedback
1. When viewing a student's work, click the Add Private Feedback button.
2. A message will appear at the top of your screen letting you know that you are in Private mode. Click Back to exit.
3. From here, you can add highlights and comments to the text, as well as leave private comments at the bottom of the page.
4. Once completed, your students will see a similar blue box that notes they’ve received private feedback.
