✅ Try Wet Ink for free
The best way to learn about Wet Ink and to see if it will work for you, is to try it!
We have a free option for anyone curious about Wet Ink, or simply wanting to use Wet Ink on a very casual basis.
In this option, you can run 1 class at a time, for up to 4 weeks, with 8 students enrolled. We do have a few restrictions around our features in this tier. These are subject to change, but at the moment our restrictions are:
Maximum of 10 inline comments per response. (For free accounts, each assignment response can have no more than 10 inline comments.)
Limit on critique distributions (only 2 cohorts or 2 critiques for selective).
📝 Note: If you have more than 8 students, you will need to upgrade to our On Demand subscription and pay for all students taking the class. We do not have a way to allow "partially free" subscriptions. This cost is $9 per student, per month. Please see the next section for more details.
📆 On Demand
You will be billed monthly for the number of students taking your classes. This is our flexible option, as you only pay when a class is running and students are enrolled.
📝Note: Each class is pro-rated to a day, meaning you only pay for the days that your class is running. If your class only goes for 25 days, you will only pay for 25 days.
Our pricing for this subscription is $9 per student, per class, per month.
However, we understand that at times, you may have a class that goes for 3 months, 6 months or longer.
In this case, we will not charge you more than $27 per student, for each student in that class for up to one year.
🎊 Standard
With this option, you are charged per student, per class, per year.
In other words, it is per enrollment per year.
This means if a student is enrolled in 2 different classes, it is counted as 2 separate enrollments.
This plan typically works best for organizations that run independent classes, charging their students per class, spanning over 4 months to 1 year.
This cost is $24 per student, per class, per year.
📝Note: This is an annual plan, meaning you pay in advance for enrollments for that year. Please also note that you cannot buy additional enrollments for your organization throughout the year.
🏫K-12 & Higher Education
With this option, you are charged a flat fee per student, per year.
This means if a student is enrolled in 2 different classes, you are not charged twice.
You can also "recycle" seats, meaning once a class is closed, you can use those seats again. The only limit is that you can't exceed the number of seats purchased.
This plan typically works best for schools and colleges that run multiple classes as part of a large course.
This cost is $42 per student, per year.
📝Note: This is an annual plan, meaning you pay in advance for enrollments for that year. Please also note that you cannot buy additional enrollments for your organization throughout the year.
👫 Community Add- on
We also offer a community add-on.
If you would like to have group spaces where all your members can interact, you might want to include communities to your subscription.
This is where, as a whole group, participants can share writing and communicate with each other. You can have an organization-wide community and you also have the option to open communities for class groups once their class in over - giving these students a way to keep in touch.
This cost is $10 per 50 members, per month.
📝Note: Communities are a fixed price and are not prorated. This means, even if you close all your communities halfway through a month, you will still be charged the fixed amount of $10 at the end of that billing cycle.
