You can schedule classes in advance, rather than starting them immediately.
Use this feature to schedule classes far in advance and encourage enrollment. Or, to avoid manually starting every class on the day it's supposed to begin.

Using this will create an "Upcoming classes" section on your classes page that can be viewed by students.

In this article:

  • Schedule your class

  • Upcoming class view

Schedule your class

1. From your organization's classes tab, find your class under the "Not Running" section.

2. Click Go To Class

3. From the class checklist, click Start Class.

4. Select on a specific date/time.

5. Enter a date and time for the class to open. If you have one, add a link to an about page where students can sign up.

6. Select when you would like the first lesson to open for your students.
Subsequent lessons will open over time, based on the schedule shown. You can change when lessons will open at any time.

7. Click Start Class.

Upcoming class view

1. A new section will appear on your class page. This section will be labelled "Upcoming".

Each class will show:

  •  the name of the class

  • the duration of the class

  • the instructor taking the class

  • when it is set to begin

2. By clicking the more information button, students will see:

  •  an introduction to the instructor

  • descriptions of what will be in each lesson

  • a place to sign up

If you added a link, clicking this will take your students to your website, where they can read about the class in more detail and sign up.
If you did not add a link, you will be notified by email if a student indicates that they are interested.
